Yesterday I drove to Fort Wayne for a physical therapy appointment. My pelvic floor dysfunction problems have flared up some. Since my surgery in December I haven't been consistent with my pelvic exercises. I have a new exercise to add which will hopefully address an area of constant pain for me. The obturator internus is a little muscle that is part of the group that rotates the hips. The OI hurts me the most when sitting, but now I also have pain when lying down and walking. Unfortunately, I won't see the therapist again until late June because I will be focused on recovering from my posterior cervical fusion surgery which takes place May 26th. Not sure how well I can do some of the exercises in the recent post-op period while wearing a neck brace so I am trying to faithfully do them the next two weeks to gauge any improvement.
Since I was in Fort Wayne, I stopped at AAA to get an Illinois tour book and an Illinois map for our upcoming trip to the Starved Rock area.
Then I went to Best Buy to see if they had a Canon Pixma TR7020 printer. There was none on display, but the sales rep said there was one in stock. I would have liked to have seen the printer outside of the box, but I had read many reviews before selecting this printer for purchase. I asked if Best Buy would match the Canon website price. They did and I saved $20. The store didn't have any ink cartridges in stock. The reviews had said that the ink cartridges were hard to find. I could order from Best Buy, but I found out I can order them from Walmart and will probably go that route once I have tried the printer and know I am going to keep it. I won't try to set it up until Thursday or Friday.
I browsed clothes at Macy's and Penney's. The Macy's store was kind of weird. They had maybe about half the clothes they used to stock. Lots of space for getting around in the store but not much selection. The JM Collection and Charter Club label had really shrunk. I usually like those clothes best. I had better luck at Penney's. I bought two tops and two pairs of earrings on sale.
Last week I took about half a dozen clothing items to Goodwill along with some books to donate. Still trying to follow the "1 item in, 1 item out" philosophy.
